While she waits to find a stopping point to take her time to breathe, the moment ceases. To make words linger longer than air, she waits to find the perfect fit. To feel inspired. She sees words she thought were hers show up in other people’s minds. While she makes priority all the inauthentic things, her sense of self sits on a shelf collecting dust. She adds more weight to her belly and waist and her mind is even heavier. The world she creates in a context she did not will not wait for luck and spares not the victims of “There is no time.” The time is now.
The time is now.
Notes
What is the thing you won’t share aloud because it isn’t perfect yet? What is the thing you won’t do because it’s “not a good time” yet?
Here’s the lesson: Perfect timing isn’t real.
There is always going to be something, so you might as well start now.
What’s the first tiniest thing you could do to get started? Give yourself a due date and meet it. Then set another due date for the second step, meet it, and so on and so on until you find yourself where you want be.
What is it that you’re going to make time for now?
